Aluminum windows and profiles for the Indonesian market
Indonesia is a large and fast-moving construction market, from apartment and office towers in Jakarta and Surabaya to landed housing across Java and villas and resorts in Bali. Aluminum window and door frames (kusen aluminium) are widely fabricated by local workshops that need dependable sections, accessories and colours.
Common requests include sliding and casement window sections, swing and sliding door profiles, shop fronts and interior partitions. Send the sections you use and we will match existing dies or quote custom extrusions.
Tropical rain, humidity and earthquakes
Heavy monsoon rain makes drainage and sealing important, especially for sliding windows. Choose sill and track profiles that let water escape, and specify gaskets and brushes for the exposure. High humidity and coastal air also call for suitable finishes and corrosion-resistant accessories.
Much of Indonesia is seismically active, so allow glazing clearances and follow the engineer’s anchorage details. For air-conditioned buildings, thermal break frames and appropriate glazing help reduce heat gain.
Indonesia aluminum profile sample catalogue
The 8 images below are the profile sections grouped for Indonesia in the MT Flying sample catalogue. Use them to identify sections familiar to Indonesian workshops or to discuss an alternative.
Quote the sample number (for example “Indonesia sample 001”) together with a section drawing when you ask for a price. The photographs are selection references only; they do not confirm wall thickness, alloy temper, finish or local certification, so the drawing and specification decide the final profile.
Recommended MT Flying systems for Indonesia
Our sliding window systems and casement windows suit most residential and apartment openings; villas and resorts can consider the panoramic sliding door and folding door ranges for wide openings to terraces and gardens.
See our Southeast Asia projects for regional references, and combine window profiles with interior door profiles or cabinet profiles in one container if you supply fit-out customers.
Shipping aluminum profiles to Indonesia
Most shipments go to Tanjung Priok in Jakarta or Tanjung Perak in Surabaya, with other ports available for regional projects. Confirm your port, incoterm and importer of record when requesting a quotation.
Profiles are packed with protective film and wrapped bundles. For inter-island distribution, tell us your preferred bundle sizes and labelling so onward shipping is easier.
How to request a quotation from Indonesia
To prepare a quotation for Indonesia, please send:
- Section drawings or the Indonesia sample numbers you want to match
- Length per bar, quantity per profile and the total tonnage or bar count
- Finish: powder coating colour, anodizing, wood-grain or electrophoresis, with a colour reference
- Whether you need bare profiles, profiles with accessories, or finished windows and doors
- Destination port (Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Perak or another Indonesian port), your incoterm and importer
- Any test reports, certificates or documents your project or importer requires
MT Flying will review the drawings, confirm whether an existing die can be used or a new die is needed, and return an itemised quotation with the agreed packing and shipment terms. Approve the drawings and a finish sample before production starts.
Frequently asked questions
Which Indonesian ports do you ship to?
Most orders go to Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) or Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), but we can quote other Indonesian ports. Confirm the port and incoterm with your enquiry.
Do you supply complete windows or only profiles?
Both. Many Indonesian buyers order bare profiles for local fabrication, while some projects order finished windows and doors. Tell us which scope you need.
Can you match colours used in Indonesia, such as wood-grain finishes?
Send a colour reference or sample. We will propose the closest powder coating, anodizing or wood-grain finish and confirm it with a sample before production.
